A Night Out in Puerto Vallarta

Our “Malecón” in downtown Puerto Vallarta has multiple options to enjoy an amazing night in Puerto Vallarta. You can start with a few drinks at the Bar Morelos, which is on Morelos street, has no sea view as most other clubs, however, is a very pleasant place to chat with your friends or couples. Each night they have a theme night with live entertainment, from salsa, pop, to rock. The main cocktail of this place is Mezcal, a very famous drink in Mexico that is available in most parts of Mexico where there are agaves and served in different versions for the taste of any palate. They also have food, I recommend the pastor pizza, it is simply delicious. It’s exactly like tacos, but in pizza! Great! The place, the atmosphere and the staff are efficient and make you feel welcome and eager to return.

Undoubtedly it is one of the best places where you can start a long night in Puerto Vallarta.
Some other great options to enjoy your night are the restaurants located on the edge of the Malecon. These have beautiful ocean views. Among the most famous and some of my personal favorites are Vitea, La Dolce Vita, Cervecería Union and La Bodeguita del Medio. Upon completion of this tour follow the clubs, or better known as dens. Puerto Vallarta has the best nightly entertainment companies throughout the country. The best located right in the middle of the Malecon we have Mandala, a beautiful location, excellent service, good quality drinks and excellent variety of music. It is a locals’ favorite. A second spot, which is actually on the rooftop of Mandala, is called Sky. It is part of the Mandala family and is an equally fun location and has an incredible view to the bay. With an outdoor terrace and also a dance floor, you are literally dancing under the stars. Extraordinary place.
Other clubs in this area are the famous Señor Frogs, a more American concept, which is always full of tourists. It plays hip hop music and also serves food. The Zoo also is visited by tourists and plays hip hop and electronic music. La Vaquita is another location preferred by locals and the tourists who visit us.
If you want something quieter, then try out “The Jazz Foundation”. This is a unique place in Puerto Vallarta with a totally different concept from the others. It is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy live entertainment. Located on the rooftop of a building at the beginning of the malecon, it has a spectacular view. It also has a restaurant and live performances by various local and foreign talents that will make your night unforgettable.
