When thinking of moving to Puerto Vallarta with school age children there are lots of things to consider but probably the largest decision is which school will they attend.
Most ex-pats will find that they will want their kids attending a private school if they want them to be truly bilingual and able to attend universities in other countries.
Here is a few of the more popular schools among expats.

Colegio Americano de Puerto Vallarta (American School Puerto Vallarta)

Located in the Marina right near the airport this is one of the most popular schools for ex-pats. Children are taught English only by native English speaking teachers accredited in Canada or the US. All Spanish subjects are taught by native Spanish speaking teachers accredited in Mexico. Class sizes are small at approx 20 kids per class and covers from nursery school to high school. With students graduating obtaining a US and Mexican diploma. In addition there are many after school sports, arts and language studies activities for the students.  Personally one of my favourite schools, but I may be biased as my children go there.

Campo Verde

One of the newest schools in the area, it is located in Las Juntas about 1/2 way between the airport and Nuevo Vallarta. It offers from pre-nursery all the way to  high school.
